Description
Your three-hour Rookie Experience begins with orientation and on-track instruction at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Then, you can get in the driver's seat and take off! Enjoy 1 to 2 hours on the eight-lap course in a V-8 NASCAR-style racecar with 600 horsepower, and by the end, you won't be a rookie anymore.
Your Rookie Experience includes:
10 minutes - Orientation and Video: Meet the RPDE staff and watch a short video
20 minutes - On-Track Instruction in RPDE Van: Master the track driving line, acceleration and deceleration points, and more
20 minutes - In-Car Instruction and Photos: View the interior equipment; Have your photo taken outside the car
10 minutes - Mandatory Driver's Meeting: This is the time to ask any questions and get the driving order
15 minutes - Closing Ceremony: Receive your lap-time sheet and graduation certificate
Upgrade to our Rookie Tour option,
which includes roundtrip transportation, an overview of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the largest sporting venue on the West Coast of the United States, and a tour of the Richard Petty Driving Experience Race Shop. You'll also visit the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Gift Store to find your favorite race gear.
